About Us

You deserve a medal.

(Yes, you do. And you know someone who does too.)

Long before we started wearing wristwatches, there were  pocket watches. These watches were attached to chains,

and typically  a charm,  known as a fob medal, was fastened to the chain for decoration.

Yet these medals, usually crafted in sterling silver or sterling and rose gold,  did more than make the wearer look

fashionable. Often they were engraved, and then they worked as communiques – signaling  your status,

(hello, aristocratic family crest), secret loyalties, or organization.

They were also given as awards for achievement – victory medals for everything from sports to gardening and cooking.

Today vintage fob medals are prized by collectors, and we love to  restyle them as beautiful, meaningful jewelry.

We source the medals from the UK  and pair them with sterling silver  vintage  chains.

Each piece is one of a kind.

These medals have had a journey,  some are close to  a century old. So they may be engraved on the reverse, or bear

slight marks. We celebrate these details, all  signs of a life lived with  purpose and accomplishment.

We are also passionate about  coins of historical importance, and vintage Wedgwood cameos set in sterling, and  we

source and restyle those too. Wedgwood first  made Jasperware cameo jewelry in the late 18th century. The classical

images on their cameos are reproductions of those 18th century designs.
